Light summer salad with Apimel honey

In the summer, we look for meals with ideal combinations – quick to prepare, fewer calories, made with seasonal, refreshing ingredients and of course, without the need to turn on the oven. This summer salad is all that + 1 – it's gluten-free.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 pieces of fresh figs
  • 5 slices of prosciutto
  • Mozzarella
  • 5 teaspoons of Apimel honey (from the Apimel Classic line)
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • olive oil
  • fresh basil
  • pepper and salt

PREPARATION

  1. Cut the figs, prosciutto, and mozzarella into bite-sized pieces and arrange in a shallow bowl or tray.
  2. Sprinkle with basil leaves to taste.
  3. Mix honey, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and freshly ground pepper to make a fine dressing. Pour the dressing evenly over the prepared figs with prosciutto and mozzarella. Do not stir, as this will cause the figs to fall apart.
